it's bound to happen. picking at random provides zero guarantees.
Yeah, I'm aware, but it doesn't make me any less fangry!
I have a friend that played for all of 3 days that got an invite lulz.
I'm starting to think all the invites went out to people who quit long ago and that's the kind of player they want in the first tests.
I would rather not have new/returning players judge the game based off of an Alpha. That said, if they signed up for Alpha, they probably already will give it a second chance.
got accepted too, EU
I strongly disagree. Alpha is when some key problems can be found out and corrected eventually, you really need the opinion of new players regarding server issue instead of people who've had to deal with the BS servers of XIV for 2 years and got used to it.
I think what you're trying to say is that you wouldn't want idiots to judge the game based on Alpha (with idiots being those that don't even know what an Alpha test is).
no luck
nice save
Oh well I'm sure they'll be adding more within a week. Didn't they say the alpha is only running until like mid December?
^ Something like that, yus.
I am under the impression that Alpha is for stress testing. They've explained it once, Alpha will be open only during scheduled times and they'll give everyone a specific task. Go here and do X. That is not something that anyone can or should be judging quality from, unless they're actually asking "was the FATE thing we asked you to participate in fun?" Maybe that's what they're doing, I don't know.
