Dark Souls 2 (PC/PS4/XB1/PS3/360)

I've purposefully kept myself in the dark about anything related to the game. However, I really wanted to check this out just because my curiosity was peaked far too much.

So...are the classes a thing that are in the base game now, or is that just a thing for the beta? Is there any info of whether I can just start out as a no-class no-one and allocate my stats the way that I wish? That's the thing I loved the most about the game.

what are you talking about? dark souls forced you to pick a starting class , DS2 does the same except there seems to be fewer of them

leveling is the same, you get to choose your stat allotments

I'm definitely picking this up. The Dark Souls guide was really useful, it wasn't just walkthrough type stuff, they had equipment lists, area maps and graphs for stat scaling on almost every stat on day 1. Lots of stuff that would take forever to figure out by yourself, helped a lot trying to figure out how to setup my first build (I played pretty much straight sorcerer).

I don't want to spoil story/fight stuff, but some things I definitely don't want to bother figuring out on my own. Also, fuck hidden walls, lol.

I preordered it the second it was available, when ENB tweeted it. The fact that he is working on it and that it is another gorgeous Future Press book... I can't pass that up. The first one was beautiful.
