So I'm going to mount my TV to my wall in one of two places, but never having my own TV mounted to a wall before I am not quite sure where to put it.
I have two options. Eye-level on flat wall like most TV's seem to go, or up high in the corner above my computer desk.
This is a bedroom TV, and is watched from bed and sometimes from the computer. It is hooked up as a 3rd monitor, but due to being an inferior, low resolution of only 1080p, I only use it for movies when the GF is over and will probably never play any games on it (my monitor is a 30inch, fuck using a tv for games). Although I might push my steam games onto it some how, the games that use an Xbox controller that is.
Here are the spots for placement and the viewing angles that will be used. My room is an absolute mess (especially my computer desk) because of Christmas and gift wrapping, so just ignore that for now.
I'm really just looking for opinions on if I should go with the up high or not, since I've never used a TV like that before. The main problem with up high as I've shown in a picture is that there is a light right there. I can turn it off or remove it though. I don't really watch too much TV or play too many games with the light on.
This is where it is now, the original spot, and if I hang it it will be at eye level here instead of knee/waist level it is now.

Here is that same spot from my bed.

And here is the original spot/above that spot when hung when viewed from my computer chair. I am getting a mount that can swivel.
