Everyone is to blame.
Everyone is to blame.
I think we all know who is to blame and he lives in your mirror.
My evil stepmother rocks a hell of a mustache, but that's no way to speak of my family.
I want to see an eventual rematch with Barao and McDonald. Mayday needs a lot more muscle, he was looking very skinny. His take down defense looked fucking awesome, he would always get right back up. Barao won via retard strength in the clinch.
McDonald relied on power counter-punches which solely came from straight jabs while fading into the third round. Barao forced him to carry his own weight against the cage throughout the fight testing his cardio which didn't pass. Obviously the logical choice here is throw more muscles on.
He still got closer than anyone I have seen to knocking that retard out.
Meh. Dominick Cruz still retardly outstrikes him and then wrestefucks him to a decision imo.
Just hope Barao vs Cruz happens for sure, that will be a good fight if Dominic's injury isn't a problem.
If anything Barao is a perfect example of an interim champion. Nigga ain't pulling no Condit gay shit. You have to keep the division moving with defenses while the "real champ" heals up with a non career ending injury. People calling for Cruz to be stripped of the belt are the dumbest of dumb retards and I'm saying that as a person that can't even stand him. Nigga's the GSP of BW without the skill to make it exciting while he does it.
I remember Barao saying he wanted to wait until Cruz healed up though, which yeah I still didn't have much of a problem with, the guy is practically undefeated. They shouldn't strip him, but if it could take longer than 2013.
To be the man, you have to beat the man.
Only thing I could see keeping Cruz from a W in this fight is ring rust.
i fucking HATE cruz
With broken hands at that.
circling only to one side is pretty big striking myth. you become real predictable, some people have stronger lead than rear hands (almost all of Anderson Silva's punch knockdowns come from his lead right) + there are evasive maneuvers you can hit going to either side. for a southpaw, for example, it's easier to slip a right hand moving into it than away from it, guys like Zab Judah and Lucian Bute made a living off of giving up the angle to orthodox fighters, baiting a right hand, slipping it, and countering as hard as they could with haymaker left uppercuts coming up from the slip
McDonald's main problem was his lack of diversity and the way he leads with his face when he comes forward. Barao could kick him without fear at range, which forced McDonald to move forward, and adjusted to Michael's bullrushing real quick and started countering him nicely. Michael was so eager to connect with Barao he sacrificed his balance when he was moving ahead, his head was coming out over his feet which is a major no-no in all striking arts. balance is shot, put your face closer to their strikes, lose shoulder protection
i like McDonald but he doesn't kick and he doesn't go to the body and he mostly just uses his left hand to jab out and set up his right. murderous power but too predictable, i don't consider Barao a great striker but he picked McDonald apart over the last three rounds
