Wouldn't put it past Bjorn to tell Chandler to take a dive for trilogy. Think that trilogy would sell more than Ortiz/Rampage, though I think Eddie has a solid chance at beating him w/o a dive involved.

Eddie had him hurt pretty bad a round or two before the fight ended, I still have faith in the guy.
never saw the fight but i hear alvarez vs. chandler was quite the soiree.
tim kennedy is calling out alistair overeem... i'll take the vegas odds on tim kennedy.
good fight, those two got some chins. chandler was hurt pretty bad in the 3rd round though, seems like the rematch will be a toss up.
Is there an MMA fight with a more ridiculous opening 10 seconds than that?

Funniest "fight" ever. You BJJ guys are going to love this.
I think Chandler was roughly an equal back then but he is the kind of guy who is a natural at this sport and because he is so young and new he will probably have made much greater improvements than Eddie since that last fight. Eddies power gives him a shot in any fight but I think Chandler stomping him would not be a surprise.
Know your Bellator son.
no thanks pops.
stoked on the rematch, Chandler is looking like one of the best lightweights in the world. serious wrestling pedigree combined with ridiculous power and boxing chops that look better and better by fight. pressuring Rickels with jabs then obliterating the bro with a huge cross counter when Rickels tried to respond with a jab of his own, gorgeous stuff. i've drunken the kool-aid, it's delicious
It's easily up there as one of the most exciting fights of all time, it looked over for both of them multiple times in the fight, after getting badly hurt Chandler recovered so well with that submission, I loved it.
I've loved Eddie since his brawl with Hellboy in DREAM. Chandler wasn't on my radar too much until he beat oldPitbull, who I had a lot of stock in. Both are fantastic to watch.
my favorite part was "i'm going to rush you in 2 weeks" haha
that video always gets me cuz the one with the tats is like exactly a fat retarded version of my cousin, who would fucking break both those kids horribly (was a gangbanger in Denver)
according to pettis, ben askren is considering retirement, as he's stuck in contract limbo while waiting for bellator's 1 year contract-matching-right period to end.
Nothing of value was lost, etc. Let's be real here, even if Askren actually did make it to the UFC, would you actually want to see him lay and pray a title victory over GSP? (lol like that would happen)
