Synopsis:

We saw a preview of this before the Hobbit. I had no idea Meyer wrote any books other than Twilight (I should have known evil comes in more ways than one), but as soon as the preview started rolling I thought "Wow, this is pretty much Twilight isn't it?"

Then I saw "From the author of 'The Twilight Saga'" and I silently congratulated myself for being able to instantly identify recycled themes.

Was thinking that the plot is basically Animorphs but with a few alterations. Why don't they just do Animorphs for adults? Seriously, it would make a fucking badass movie if done properly and all the kids who read it while it was being released are grown-ups now.

Hating on the author is fun, but apparently this book was actually pretty good. The gf was equally irritated by twilight as every one else, but after reading this book she said it was actually really good. It restored her faith in Meyer. I'm at least gonna give this one a chance.

She does say though that a lot of the cool stuff is inner monologue from the book, and we all know how well that translate to a movie.
