That wait was too long, but back to back amazing chapters. Probably my favorite set of chapters in the manga not gonna lie, and I can't get over the writing and character growth though man, I'm pretty salty the anime got delayed.

This is why you gotta be kind to people in manga. No matter how big and strong and powerful someone in manga gets, ultimately their actions are always decided by past tramua they suffered. I look at the chick in One Punch Man literally shaving a slice of the planet away with a giant laser. Insane, universal power, and at her core, she's still just bitter at being ignored by someone she admired.
This is why psychologists need to be the most well-paid people in all manga, lol.

How close is this to ending? I know the final season of the anime isn't coming for a while and I've heard the manga is drawing to a close, but have heard nothing definitive.

This is the final arc. We don't know for sure how long it's gonna go. They had planned for it to end around the same time as the anime but the anime got delayed because of COVID
