I think you are guaranteed entry into phase 3 in that situation, as a non-legacy FFXIV account holder. But you should apply so that you can try get in earlier.

Everyone with an account will get into beta by Phase 3. I'd like to point out that some Legacy members also purchased the CE btw.
Iirc they're planning to make another CE for ARR and all the extras will be added to those that bought the original CE.

No, it has nothing to do with the old version of the game. That software is absolutely worthless at this point.

I think this the appropriate place to post this news. For the NA people (like myself) that have registered the FFXIII code to their members page and forgotten the code, there is a way to get the code resent to you now. Just go to the link below and post in the thread saying you need the code and they will search their database and private message you.
