Lines are dicey of course, I'll wait until training camp "officially" starts later today to start worrying. Before the season I thought they might split up Ovie and Backstrom, but since they were best bros for Dynamo I doubt that'll happen. Problem is their RW options are not good, I was hoping Fehr would fit in somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd line and either Laich or Johansson could stick at center. With Laich out, it's just a clusterfuck.
Wow in a 48 match season the habs will never have a back to back against the same team
strange
There ya go BKBob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Michael Del Zotto has agreed to tentative terms with NYR and is expected in camp today tho aspects of contract are still being worked on.
Scott Gomez si ont on the ice
Rds rumor that the habs told Gomez stay at home we gonna pay you and we gonna rebut his contract next year
More info in 1h max it seems
Psyched
Katie Carrera @kcarrera
Caps lines:
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Johansson
Wolski-Ribeiro-Brouwer
Chimera-Beagle-Wilson/Ward
Hendricks-Perreault-Fehr/Crabb
French version of habs lines for now
@FelixSeguinRDS: Trios CH : Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Galchenyuk-Eller-Gionta Bourque-Prust-Moen Armstrong-Dumont (White-Gallagher alternent)
I still feel like Gomez just fell on hard times and that he's not really THAT bad.
@TSNBobMcKenzie Flashback to June 30, 2009: NYR trade Gomez, Tom Pyatt, Michael Busto to MTL for Chris Higgins, Ryan McDonagh, Pavel Valentenko.
Speak of the devil lol
Caps 3rd pair is Schultz-Erskine
LOLOLOLOLOL
Matthieu darche got a try with the devils

I need NHL Gamecenter announcements real bad. I can't even get NHL network down here.

Maybe the Jets will take him!!!!
2 bad seasons in a row when you're only 30 is a REALLY bad sign. His first season here he wasnt that much worse than some of his NJD days, when he was considered "a threat":
2002–03 New Jersey Devils NHL 80GP 13 42 55 (0.69 PPG) +17
2006–07 New Jersey Devils NHL 72GP 13 47 60 (0.83 PPG) +7
2009–10 Montreal Canadiens NHL 78 GP 12 47 59 (0.76 PPG) +1
but the last 2 seasons were fucking atrocious:
2010–11 Montreal Canadiens NHL 80GP 7 31 38 (0.47 PPG) -15
2011–12 Montreal Canadiens NHL 38 GP 2 9 11 (0.29PPG) -9
Not to mention his +/- rating was horrible too, meaning he was a huge liability. Maybe he always was a huge liability but having Martin Brodeur in his prime in nets really makes you look not so bad.
Either way, the elephant in the room is gone.
In line, doors open in 15 minutes. Looks like ill snag a lower bowl seat. Should be awesome.
Anybody got any recommendations for fantasy hockey rankings? Even the first 6-12 would help as I really don't know which rankings to trust and its my first time doing fantasy hockey.
