Just saw the Kaleta hit, was pretty fucking dirty. If he let him get a step or 2 closer to the boards...its a harmless shove from behind that leads to nothing, instead its his face crashing into the boards. Richards was a good 7-8 feet away from the boards, and given his history, that should be a lengthy suspension.

Removed all offsetting penalties, and its 5-2. Lets not mention the fact that Pacioretty was rather blatantly high sticked, with blood drawn, right in the middle of the play and both refs should have been watching with ~4 minutes to go and no call there...but I guess Pacioretty embellished and the blood was fake?


Whats the ref supposed to do to Chara? He beelines for Emelin from center ice and starts punching him before his gloves are even off. How else are the refs supposed to call that?

Believe he's pissed about the no call that lead to chara having to bee line for emelin...... something about a stick being broken over sequins ribs. (Missed the game, just what buddies told me)

Should I be happy about the win tonight? Sure. Am I happy? Eh, not really.

-We barely beat a team that traveled to the city maybe 4 hours before the game even started
-We barely beat a team that had to play the night before
-We're still 6 points behind the team we just beat
-We're still 4 points behind a playoff spot
-We're still sitting .500 on the season and can bare scrap 3 wins in a row together.

If/When Calgary beats Vancouver convincingly and after Vancouver didn't play the night before and had shitty travel issues, then maybe I'll be more satisfied.

Also, work annoyed the fuck out of me tonight. So that might be why I'm grumpy.

2009/11/28 Suspended by the NHL for two games.

One suspension every 2 years, 1-2 months after the season starts. He's just keeping pace.

It's surprisingly well edited for a fan video, lol. I found it mostly hilarious at the parts where they showed the Bruins as divers and the Canucks as players who play with skill and aren't dirty at all. Especially in that series. Because lets face it, in that series, both teams were divers, both teams were dirty, both teams were incredibly hypocritical when commenting on the play of the other team, and both teams walked away from that series more disliked by the rest of the league then ever.
