It's 1 Acc/Atk for every 2 DEX/STR.
Yup, 1 ATT/ACC for every 2 STR/DEX.
Note: I have ACC+4 from JPCode:Ifrit Naked: ACC 482 ATT 530 EVD 424 DEF 420 Nirvana: ACC 508 ATT 547 EVD 448 DEF 444 Seraphi: ACC 796 ATT 836 EVD 668 DEF 664 Sera+Nir: ACC 853 ATT 893 EVD 712 DEF 708 121+VV: ACC 853 ATT 918 EVD 712 DEF 708 121+VV+RR: ACC 878 ATT 918 EVD 712 DEF 708
Edit: Going of what's on BG wiki this means level +2 is giving HP+4, All stats +30, ACC/ATT +42, and EVD/DEF+44.
Yeah pretty sure all pets are still at old 1hd ratios
The STR/DEX/etc+ is dependent on which level your avatar is, it's only ~30ish from 99 -> 101. Going from level 119 to 121 is only STR/DEX/etc+ 10.
doesnt that make pets even more underwhelming to some degree? unless they have some inate accuracy and attack bonus, i mean the Devs are now accounting for the DEX STR bonus on monster design players get, which totally offsets how pets would fair against those (not like they are fairing any good at all atm)
Very much so. Autos get a 10% acc/att/racc/ratt bonus but that's kinda small potatoes. Some of the older jugs (like ones that cap lower than 99 even with BA) had some innate bonuses but I didn't notice any on the newer ones though didn't test it too thoroughly and I think the bird actually has an att penalty. Based on the stats I've seen on here and tested myself. ilvl 119 pets are around what you'd expect of more like 113-115ish unbuffed player.
10% might be small potatoes, but it's more significant than what changing 2:1 to 4:3 would be. Adjusting the attribute ratio for pets would help a bit, but their problems run far deeper.
You're right, AttentiveIbuki has -10% attack. ; ;
Jug Pet Stat Bonuses/Penalties
For pup sure but I think only a couple avatars get a couple of the boosts and only certain jugs get some and some actually get penalties lol. Now if they reversed everything and gave all pets at least a 10% boost to their stats like they did auto sure that would have a bigger effect than going to new 1h model for all pets but that would require individually changing each pet.
But yes problems run much deeper. Namely in order for a pet to do decently in 1 event it basically needs to be at least 6 ilvls higher than the event (meaning you have to have already beaten harder stuff to do easier stuff <.<) while everyone else with proper buffs is taking on several ilvls higher than them and can actually follow progression
Edit: Nevermind, problem was solved
Findings: Wyvern "Level ups" are not actual level increases, but rather a fixed bonus to acc of 6/level and a 48/1024 attk boost/level (Total 30 acc and 240/1024 attack boost)
Testing: (equiped weapon level+wyvern level ups: acc/att/eva/def)
N/A: 505/473/419/419
N/A+4: 529/561/419/419
N/A+5: 535/583/419/419
117: 787/748/676/701
117+4: 811/888/676/701
117+5: 817/923/676/701
119: 819/779/705/733
119+4: 843/925/705/733
119+5: 849/961/705/733
As you can see, the accuracy bonus is the same whether you're starting from 99 or 119, but the attack bonus changes, and defense and eva don't increase.
I think it was shown even at 75 that it wasn't a "Level Up" because "Level X Spell" effects still considered the Wyvern 75 no matter what.

Pretty much this. Wyverns have pretty decent acc/atk in Delve 1 stuff(hits Tojil for 300ish which is pretty nice) but on Delve 2 it's a whiff fest. The acc food will be welcomed. SE buffed pets nicely but still not to the level that matches JA song BRD Swaps and COR Roll buffed DDs. That level of buffing can never be replicated in pets because if they made pets that strong as a base, pet jobs would dominate lower level content like Delve 1 and etc. Run Wild actually is quite a powerful buff to BST pets, surprised I don't see BSTs use it more often. If your pet can live for 5min and Call Beast is 5 min, why not use Run Wild more often, especially for difficult fights? +25% ATT/ACC/DEF/EVA and Haste with a Regen effect is pretty amazing >.>
Speaking of BST, has anyone used /checkparam with Familiar to see if it grants any other bonuses besides +10% HP to jug pets(and 10% haste from augment)?
Yeah, Familiar doesn't give any other bonuses.
Has the haste from it ever been properly tested? As far as why not there is the fact that if your pet could live longer you are making an already kinda expnsive job more expensive. Also in harder stuff your pet tends to die at hard to predict intervals usually based on bad moves. So it only takes a few times of your pet dieing from RW and then dieing again soon after from an infrequent high dmg stuff for you to become a little more cautious. Plus it kills the haste/hp from familiar and whatever stats that will now give you with job points. Theres also the fact that bsts don't tend to do party stuff as much so dead jug is a dangerous time for them
So based on numbers I've gotten from molting plummage attentive ibuki seems to have native mab. At ivl 119 I got 2594 with no +mab than 3562 with +50 on the same mob... which comes out to a native 34 mab which is a rather odd amount but oh well. Also uses dint and no other mob base stats. Can't derive an exact formula yet until I figure out Ibuki's int which is going to be annoying... then again I believe the data over on alla shows that all jugs gain the same amount of base stats each ilvl for the ones they've tested so could just do 99 which would be easier.
Also on a whim I decided to try Run wild and that increased dmg a bit so looks like RW increases either int and/or mab some as well as the increase to the parameters we can see. Both sp's seem to have no effect however
all pets got Magic Attack with the level increase, it's not exclusive to the tulfaire. a pet lower than 119, say a 114 one, would get some too if you can find one with an MAB Ready move to try it with.
So playing with some metal crunchers netted me an int of 198 for ilvl 119 birdy. So dmgs were
197 dint: 3351... 2501 before mab
192 dint: 3321... 2479 before mab
130 dint: 2939... 2194 before mab
124 dint: 2902... 2166 before mab
74 dint: 2594... 1936 before mab
Looks like about 1596+4.6dint however that puts the 197 dint 1 dmg off. Might be some weird rounding or weird over complication of the equation. I might try to get other levels to play around with the dint better and to see if lvl is a factor in their... probably wont till after next update so I can easily ballista it up
Shame we aren't really getting pet gear like pup and smn have been. Heck the only pet mab piece for bst I can think of is the magian axes and the stupid monstrosity one lol

Disappointed in the Attack food. The acc food is identical acc bonus to sushi. The acc food is a 2-3k synth, incredibly cheap and virtually destroys the sushi market. The Atk food is rather weak for players but I guess it makes sense since it's a comparatively low level synth recipe compared to curry and made from way cheaper ingredients.
Acc food gives 5dex and 6vit. Didnt check if att food gives str but assume it does.
What pets were these you tested with?
Wyvern
