I was wondering when someone would post this, this game and EIN are the 2 biggest games coming out from Neowitz.
For those that are interested, if you were wondering why this game sorta looks like TERA, it's because the same original team that created Tera and L2 is now working on this game. Everyone but 1 original dev has left BHS and is now working for Neowitz. Although the Dev team promised this game will have castle seiges, PvP, and epic raids.
I don't think the game itself looks a lot like FFXIV, but I'll be damned if the art in the OP isn't the same style (also big race/little race look like XIV counterparts, but just a coincidence since big race and little race aren't uncommon to MMOs).
Game play looks alright so far, there's not much substance shown and just flashy moves, though honestly these types of games you need to play in order to know if they're worthwhile. When all is said and done, I hope it doesn't bore the shit out of me like TERA did. While competent combat systems are nice, enemy/quest design needs to be considered as well otherwise everyone will be moving on.
Neowitz has finally broken the silence and actually updated the game this past week. The update was about Boss fights. Neowitz will add a new feature to Bless called a Morphing system.
Whenever you are fighting a boss, and throw the same attack routine over an over again (ie like tank and spank) the boss will morph and add new attacks and abilities, creating a random encounter, and thus taking skill to kill bosses in Bless. All bosses in Bless will feature this new system.
Here is a quick teaser that shows a boss morphing.
The website also updated with new photos of bosses that will be in Bless.
