Jesus. Does that rig also let you heat your house?5960x1080 Max. = 8700
A little, it stays pretty cool. max around 40c on OC CPU, and max around 70c on OC GPU's on certain games. Although FFXIV runs a little cooler, even at 5960x1080
Yep, 780s max even on OC'd are cool. I have a dream with two more monitors going at 7680x1600 lol.
That 2400mhz ram really nice boost Dillingr. What was your settings on the OC? mine only max out at +89 or so =/
Just had some luck. OC'ed the Clock @ +51Mhz Memory @ +513Mhz, I'm Happy
Average Framerate 242.9
CFX seems really broken for this benchmark. I can get it working by creating a custom profile for ffxiv.exe and using the "AFR Friendly" preset. But my GPU usage hovers around 60-70% throughout most of the benchmark, this is on both GPUs using the new 13.8 framepacing driver
The laptop I bought to replace my old one, and not use for gaming makes me sad by comparison to you guys.
Spoiler: show
I DO have a friend who's willing to build me a half-decent gaming PC, though, and I'd only use it for XIV. What should I be looking for parts-wise for a moderately high to fairly high performance in some of the higher quality settings?
My system isn't as good as the ones I see on here, I wish I could afford that much, but I saw a pretty big buff in scores between the 2 benchmarks as well, about a 2000 increase. The txt file says 70.4 fps average.
Fuck you all, jesus those are some high ass scores. I was happy with this, avg framerate was 70.4:
This thread inspired me to check my SLI settings and it turns out I've had them off the whole time I've had this computer built. (Since May lol)
I was getting 10350 to 10500 before I changed the settings.
Now:
I can't believe some of the scores that I am seeing here, I tried to get my PC to pump out but this is the best score I can get.

So yesterday I went out and purchased a EVGA 570 to replace my 460 because she is starting to show signs of failure. The only reason i purchased the 570 was because I got it for 125 friggin dollars lol.
My 460 was pulling around 5k on this new benchmark on High settings. The 570 after a clean install pushed out a 8200 on maximum, and after some tinkering this was my final score:

Not to shabby for $125. Also for reference my 2500k is OC to 4.5ghz as well. I was pretty shocked at the 570 running stable 850/2000 @mV 963, that seems to be a very nice OC.
9503 with no Overclocking, 3.4GHz Processor, AMD 7850 Graphics Card and 4GB VRAM
If 8k+ is considered extremely high, what differences are the folks getting 20k+ plus going to see in the game?
