I still have this badass monstrosity. I used the USB keyboard part til my PS2's HDD finally died last year (lasted me 7 years) and the keyboard still works. As far as the gamepad, I still have it too in a storage drawer on the entertainment stand in my parent's gameroom but it hasn't been touched in years.
Ah, I always think of PSO being a Dreamcast game (never played it but I remember tons of promo material for it came with the console).
This is what I used before all you bandwagon GC owners even discovered it. I was a videogame hipster.
While the DC was my cherry popper. The GC ver. was so far superior. I absolutely hated the Xbox version and PC doesn't count because it will always be the master race.
I used the keyboard w/o the controller part as well. IDK why I didnt just buy a usb keyboard, but that kb was awesome.
Just wondering, since Dreamcast was brought up, why exactly did the Dreamcast fail?
All I remember is that I had one and stopped playing it, then I went back to play it and it was dead. Idk if one of my "friends" swapped it with a dead one or not, but I didn't really even care. I know they came out with the same Sonic game like 8 times, then rereleased them on Gamecube and then more on xbox. That grinded my gears a bit.
To add to the accidental theme:
First "extra" I ever bought for a game system(2600). Best part was a switch on the side that would change modes. Don't know what it was really for, but i remember 1 setting would bug out the game and let me walk through walls in Beserk.

Hey guys, can I play too?
