The thing I posted was a bunch of celebration for Alien day I guess including a bunch of medium interest stuff then at the end a little word from Ridley and explanation of the prologue that came right after which Cichy posted by itself and is basically just giving us a bit of what happened after Prometheus but before Covenant

Oh wow, I didn't realize this movie would take place after they had already arrived at the creator's world. Too bad we'll get 2 hours of heavy breathing and terrible scared faces to actually get any decent plot from this universe they're expanding.

Same world. So when they start finding signs of civilization and then the dead aliens we know it was David. Also I guess they meet up with David and find the old spaceship with a message from Shaw or something. Also might explain why the xenomorphs are looking more and more like we are used to. Like maybe David be running more mad experiments on local wildlife using the goo and he is effectively their creator (ignoring avp stuff)

Don't think so but yeah definitely would help with our understanding. It looks like not too awful long after David arrives but at least long enough to murder the planet. To feed to his xenomorph incubators of course . Might not even be him though as it's quite possible this is very shortly after drops all the goo so could just be those aliens crops

Think I'm gong to rewatch Prometheus this weekend, I don't remember a whole lot but I did enjoy it.

Is this a big or low budget film? The alien in the trailers looks like absolute crap decade old cgi.

It was projected around 150 mil, don't think any actual numbers are out at this point.

They should have stuck to low light or color washed scenes like when its inside the ship in the red tunnel. The scene with it on the roof in the light just isn't meant to be.
