Urobuchi on Gargantia

From the moment this anime was in its planning stages, one of the themes I set for it was to incorporate a message for our young people in their late teens and early twenties—in other words, those are just about to enter society, or those who have just entered society and feel lost at sea. I made a point to keep this theme in mind as I composed the story, so it has a different flavor from the many other works I've created in the past. I hope that this work will act as encouragement for all of those who are being forced to struggle hard in the harsh climate of our frozen job market.

This just makes it better for when they all die horribly.

Have to say, did not expect the little brother flashback from the little Ocarina thing. And definitely didn't expect him to get shot into an incinerator or wherever he got shot into. All sorts of blindsided unexpected feels

I enjoy the series. Not a lot to say about it really, it's a good show. Again.

This one isn't, though. Badly executed adaption. Not horrible, but it's not very good.

I'm loving the ongoing AKB48 parody in Nyaruko lol. Guess it's prime to be parodied considering how uber fucking popular it is in Japan.

I'm a little bit disappointed that Hataraku Maou-sama isn't as continually funny as its first couple of episodes. "Fish out of water" comedy is hilarious when done properly, esp the idea of someone coming from a fantasy world to the real world. It's not a bad show, I just wish it would have kept up the humor level it started with. Bf keeps going on and on about how good the taxi joke was.

I was so close to dropping the series when I thought Hinako was going to be killed off on the episode

Still not a big fan in making Kuze the only summoner that's worth shit, nor the fact that he's just whoring Byakko (and I suppose the rest of the Shijin) when they could have gone with something like strategic use of multiple demons, though didn't help that the redshirts are massing a single demon type against everything to die horribly.
