Help me name this (old) TV show, please.

I remember watching this show roughly 18-20 years ago. It was about a guy and a vollyball-sized, hovering eyeball. I can't remember, but i think the duo worked as detectives of some sort. I was 7-9 when I watched this show, so I can't recall many details. Also, its possible my brain made up this small detail, but I think the intro to the show would have like schematics and drawings of the giant eye.

Might be helpful if you said whether it was animated or not. Though I'm assuming not, but if it was 20 years ago, a floating eyeball might be pretty hard to do well.

What was that other show, with the girl and the pirate puppets? I remember it was super low budget. Every time they went to explore a cave their ship would say in a super creepy voice "YOU HAVE...TO GO....INSIDE." Man, what was that show.

I remember watching that one. It was on my local public access channel. Came on after school and had the catchy opening tune.
