    video start/stop <xres> <yres> <fps> <quality>

    So i tried the //video command for recording it asks for a few subcommands and i tried to put them all in but it doesnt work still. could someone give me an actual example of a command that would work, for instance it asks for quality i dont know what options i have. i tried medium low high hi low med. i even tried 480 720 ect. There is Resx and resy which i assume is the size u want it to make it be? like 600x400 ?
    so seems to me "//video start 600 400 30 medium" should work? but it doesnt.

    Quality is a numerical value in range 1-100 from what I remember reading somewhere.

    Yes, but you don't want to set it that high or you're going to get ridiculously huge files. There's a 2 trillion byte limit on video file size, which you hit in about 30 minutes with those settings. Also, there's very little detectable difference between quality settings of 10 or less and quality settings of 100. Try something more like:
    //video start 352 288 25 5
    if you want a long recording. I know when I started I tried to use frame counts/rates that exceeded what was reasonable, so this was a good reference:
    * http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Vid...and_frame_rate

    Also, I know specific aspect ratios wouldn't work for me, but it turns out that it is because X-Vid does not support resolutions that aren't even multiples of 4:

    Does //video not support audio?

    It does not. Aureus isn't quite sure how to do it yet.

    ok thanks, i was looking all over and only found what commands were needed but no examples. No audio would prollybe fine for 90% of ffxi videos as people always put loud heavy metal or anime music over them anyway right?

    I don't particularly need/want the in game music for videos, but seeing spells/ws fire silently just makes a video feel flat to me.

    Still, //video makes FFXI videos massively easier and faster to make. Sound or not, If I were to make one anytime soon I'd use //video rather than digging up fraps or something.

    Out of curiosity, what makes the old plugins incompatible with Winower 4?

    The plugin interface changed, so everything needed to be built against the new one. Anything reporting the lower interface version is blocked to prevent hook from exploding when it uses the changed interfaces on plugins that don't implement them.

    Is there a reason the 3.4 version of Yarnball no longer works on 3.4?

    Weird, I finally got it to load (something about a render error), but instead of names it's putting six digit numbers in the parenthesis.

    Edit: Now it's not displaying names or those weird numbers, lol. Doesn't matter who I buff, it just sits in the list as a generic duration.

    I'm saying Yarnball works with the test server. I didn't test the real server though. Way to be a jackass while missing the point.

    Like the post above my post? There's a reason I said "too lazy to test the real server though."

    See at least with you we have a quote. So it is established who and what we are talking about. Still wrong.
