Why do you think mushroom food provides macc? Do we have foods yet that provide straight Macc compared to the individual stat like int, mind, or chr? I may have missed something on the official forums so I'm not asking to pick a figh, genuinely curious as a career Mage!

Based on what? Neither wikis have it listed and ffxiah.com has some generic macc+??? comments, but nothing more. I do not read the official forums so if there is something I missed please point me in that direction.

This is what I was afraid of. I asked a cook friend of mine and he said something along the lines of - Some guy in the legion thread said they increase macc. No data to back it up, now everyone believes it.

we (the schs) use it in legion too pre update and now, is very noticable on the mantis, you get way less stun resists with that food

can you say what attack you had with no gear pre food? because with gear the increase only indicates 13% attack boost and the cap seems to be 94 attack (odd number)

I personally didn't notice it doing shit, NQ or HQ version. I used it for a few weeks and then stopped bothering. I still have about a stack and a half that I've been meaning to test, but until they update the test server I don't think I will bother.

Ah yes, the mysterious book. I have heard this book also referenced around rusks and increasing HQ rate. I will buy said book if anyone is willing point me in the direction of the book and then translate the JP.
