The BPD commissioner did a report a few minutes ago on news networks. He had a lot of info.
@universalhub, started following them after I moved here. Saw the news break out on the bombings as it happened. Davis (the police commissioner) said the actual explosion was at 4:30. The fire was in a mechanical room at UMass.
Also, cell service in Boston is now offline to prevent potential for remote detonation.

NY Post now reports the suspect as being a Saudi Arabian national.

Conflicting info is conflicting
BPD Commissioner Ed Davis says the blast at the JFK Library around 4:30 p.m., which was announced as an unrelated electrical explosion, was actually an explosion that could be related to the explosions on Boylston Street.

There's reports of an abandoned Penske truck that is suspicious out in Roxbury near Ruggles.
Unless it was a getaway vehicle, probably not related, as Roxbury is of little value to anyone.
Scott Pelley (CBS) said the Library fire was accidental, in a mechanical room, and unrelated to the Marathon.
