    Good to see that confirms the boss is part of the Plasm multiplier. They got 40k Plasm for the kill.

    Looks like we need to start doing 3-4 NMs + Tojil runs. Kurma is the only real timesink. Generally takes us 7-10 mins but that's with a RNG party. Fastest kill was 5 but it was nice with Dispel.

    Tojil kills are far more commonplace than I expected. Hopefully we can down Shark this weekend.

    Has anyone tried Tomahawk on Tojil yet? War isn't an ideal job to take along, but if it works it should allow a mnk/rng mixed group to tear through the initial phase even faster.

    Any one confirm the raptors evasion at 700? Trying to cap acc on these delve NMs if any one has the evasion numbers for them I greatly appreciate it. Seems the boss is truly insane over 900...

    Here's my translation of the details which seem important:


    Party setups:
    PLD/DNC, DRG/DNC, GEO/WHM, BRD/WHM, SCH/BLM, SCH/BLM

    *I can confirm that the utilization of Mantra x2, Wild Card, Mantra x2 is effective.
    *The damage reduction present above 75% HP can be overcome by Formless Strikes + Hundred Fists x4
    *The passage at the rear of the boss's position is quite narrow, so we looked for a better battle location.

    1. For the battle area, we used the small room northeast of the first intersection when moving away from the boss area. Front line jobs are positioned around Tojil in the small room, while back line jobs are arranged in the hallway to the small room.

    2. PLD pulls Tojil along with the fodder monsters that link.

    3. Apply buffs:
    BRDs use Soul Voice (with Nightingale):
    BRD 1: March, Madrigal, Madrigal, Minuet
    BRD 2: Minuet, Minuet, Minuet, Scherzo

    The bards swap back and forth (also as much as possible during combat). The corsairs swap in their single opening, using Rogue's and Fighter's first, then Chaos and Hunter's second. Scholars use Embrava in order from the beginning of the fight.

    4. After buffs are complete, one MNK in each party uses Mantra to raise HP before engaging Tojil.

    5. Immediately after engaging, MNKs use Formless Strikes > Hundred Fists, DRG uses Angon, WAR uses Tomahawk, enhanced Dia II is applied, PLD/DNC uses Stutter Step, DRG/DNC uses Box Step, GEO (opens with Bolster) uses Frailty and Torpor.

    6. When the effect of the first monk's Mantra ends, the second monk uses Mantra. Note that Mantra cannot be overwritten, it must be used after the inital effect ends.

    7. After confirmation that the second Monks have used Mantra, CORs in each party use Wild Card. This will restore Formless Strikes and Mantra at the very least.

    8. The two Scholars are in charge of Stun. They must stun ALL TP moves and any magic spells considered dangerous.

    9. Dark Shot and Dispel must be used if Batholithic Shell or Blistering Roar are triggered.

    10. Later, as much as possible to avoid the need to run out of combat.

    Random note to above - I would think Malaise would be more effective than Frailty for the first 25% while using Formless. Probably doesn't matter much, though, I bet that 25% drops very fast.

    said something like they did 1-5NMs with 18 and 16 mins to spare on 1-5 NM runs so could even possibly do tojil with the time remaining (maybe i misread)

    open with formless + 100 fist and switch to dmg reduction gear after wore off
    mantra rotation x2 > wild card > formless and mantra up again for first 75%

    basically stun all WS and magic
    spam finale darkshot dispel on barriers

    Doesn't sound like it if they're still using Formless Strikes at the start. Might be for any slashing/blunt/piercing resistance it has, or maybe just a "he's here anway, may as well" type thing.

    I wonder if the DRK (and even WAR) were there to boost their rolls, or if there was some other reason for the DRK to be on DRK.

    Am I the only one who got a bit tingly at double trousers drop on the previous page? I don't think I saw any other instances of the same drop loading twice before.

    Come to think of it, have all the drops had 4 r/e items load? So, guaranteed 4 and choices are random?

    When we posted Tojil kill it was double Oatixur.

    It seems that the pool is

    4x Equipment slots (Anything can load including multiple of the same item)
    1 of each Synth Mat
    3 Airlixir slots (+1 or +2. Uncertain if you can get 3x +2 though. You can definitely get 3x +1)

    Could feasibly get more Mantras in there if you had luck with Random Deal, but I guess if you're killing in 10 minutes 4 will last you plenty. Seems pretty straightforward with practice, thanks for translations.

    Maybe the equipment divides further? I was thinking 3 weapon/armor, 1 accessory.

    Edit: never mind, found a contradiction to that. Maybe limit of 2 of the same item, though?

    Formless doesn't work on ws or counter, assuming the initial phase is longer than HF or the initial phase includes magic resist the Tomahawk is still viable for the Mnks, and gets even better if there's a blunt resistance phase as well. Drk and War make sense to boost rolls and Reso/MSUpheaval zerg the possible slashing bonus phase, while still providing additional utility stuns/bashes & Tomahawk.

    It all has to be tested to be certain, but it doesn't look like an incidental addition when they could have just tossed in two mura/delve Sams or extra Mnks.

    For Geo, Bolster stacks with Blaze of Glory for loupons. Considering that, should Geo be using Geo-Fraility or Torpor? Not sure if 630ish base acc + buffs and food caps acc on Tojil or not. With all those minuets and the stacking of -def, also not sure if attack is capped or not. Guessing to go with Geo-Torpor (or possibly Malaise during the first 25% as Slycer mentioned) and Indi-Fraility.

    Possibly. Just going from the odds though it could be a while before we can say conclusively.

    The only thing I can say is that we've never seen more than 2 of the same thing drop and we've never seen 2 doubles drop on the same kill. We've seen double weapons and double armor (not double accessories yet though). It may be 3 unique slots and 1 rerolled slot. Accessories seem to be the rarer drops for us but not a huge kill list to go from.

    EDIT: FFXIDB has only 1 listed kill and it looks like it dropped double K'ayres Ring so accessories can double drop too.

    I can confirm that a melee set up is very viable and worth while. I joined a boss run lead by Sakima of Asura last night (early this morning) and we killed 2nm + Boss in 27 minutes total. Could have easily killed in 20 but we took time to kill any adds we got. Here is some information from the fight:

    Party Set up:
    PT1: MNK MNK DRG BRD COR WHM
    PT2: MNK MNK DRK BRD COR WHM
    PT3: SCH SCH RDM GEO GEO BRD

    Our first attempt we used SCHx1 but they could not keep up with stuns. We used RDM first run to help stun but they do not have high enough skill / magic accuracy. We used a PLD on first run but it wasn't worth it. PLD is mainly in alliance as a safety net in case of a bad chain of events.

    Our winning run we had BRD SV at the beginning. Melee pts had 8 total songs and 4 rolls (marchx2 madrigalx2 minuetx4 / chaos + hunters + Fighters + Rogues). Mnks started fight with hundred fists + formless strikes. They also used mantra rotation but one mnk did not have 5/5 mantra.

    Geos kept evasion down / Defense down / magic evasion down / Magic Accuracy up. Geo rotated 1 hour. One used it at the beginning for enhanced defense down and evasion down, another used it towards the end for enhanced magic evasion down and enhanced magic accuracy.

    SCHs were in charge of stun. 2 good sch can keep all tp moves / spells stunned. RDM is one of the most important jobs here. They dispel Tojil. Also Dia 3 + Light shot is kept up. And the most important part: they keep Tojil Silenced. As well as refresh2 all mages in the party.

    Usual DD strats used (i.e drg angon when up). Very important melee are not terrible and have hp+ sets in case lahar gets off. Most melee still had over 1k hp weakened which is far from threatening level. With proper DT+HP sets and cure support to keep them topped off / cure skin on, melee have no trouble while weakened. Mid fight cors just used wildcard to try to reset mnk 2 hour but mainly for mantra resets.

    Anyways, total fracture time: 27 mins. We did raptor + eft. Eft first took 6 mins to kill, raptor took 4mins. We had issues running to boss because our original plan was to have brd gather / sleep mobs on the way and log out hate. However the brd used powder boots and as many know, mobs inside lose aggro very easy so we ended up training a lot of mobs and just killing them in the tunnel before boss area. Total boss kill time was 10 mins and 30 sec.
