Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens

So there's another supposed plot leak for the movie spoilered below.

Imagine the standard Star Wars crawl, and when it ends the camera pans up to the stars. But instead of a spaceship zooming into frame we see... a hand! A severed hand, tumbling through space. A severed hand gripping a light saber.
That hand falls onto a desert planet, where it is discovered by characters who will be our heroes. One is Daisy Ridley. The other is John Boyega, who is playing someone trying to change his path in life (again, I'm keeping it vague here). They recognize the light saber as a Jedi relic and decide to return it to the proper people.
Their quest takes them off world, and they meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca, who aren't flying around in the Millenium Falcon anymore but are piloting... well, that could be a spoiler. I'll leave it. Anyway, Han and Chewie recognize the light saber as Luke's, and they say they haven't seen their friend in thirty years, since the events of Return of the Jedi.
So begins a quest to find the missing Jedi Master. Meanwhile, on an ice planet, nefarious forces are building a super weapon, one capable of destroying not planets but entire solar systems…

Essentially being a rip-off of the current Star Wars Legacy title being published by Dark Horse makes me pretty certain this one is a load of crap as well. Not to mention the idea is horrible anyway.

hand surviving re-entry on a completely different planet only 30 years later: how did the hand get into and out of hyperspace? is it made of ceramic, that it can survive re-entry?

yknow, i didn't think the midichlorians were that bad, because as i understood it, they merely presented in higher amounts in people strong in the force, they didn't actually cause the force strength.


but that's not the case and it makes me hate the prequels even more.

I havent kept up with any Star Wars books or comics, but what if its Vader's?

Well, Luke did cremate his body at the end of Return so, nope.

He cut off Vader's hand on the death star and I don't think he had time to track it down before escaping so theoretically that hand could still be out there. I just don't see how that idea would be any better though. There was an EU book Glove of Darth Vader also that was roundly considers one of the worst stories in the EU and introduced one of the worst characters in the EU in Trioculus(got the name because he has three eyes of course). He also claimed to be Palpatine's son though he actually wasn't.

all of vader's limbs are robot limbs. his first robot hand was the only one obi-wan DIDN'T cut off. so possible i guess, but why would it be holding luke's lightsaber? and how did it travel so many lightyears in only 30 years?

Enough with fucking Vader for the rest of the movies. We´ve had enough of that. I´m not even sure if I like the whole Han, Luke and their kids thing. Would´ve probably prefered a fresh story without any characters from the OT or the PT showing up.
