My parents own a small two screen movie theatre and today I asked him if he was getting the new Star Wars and he laughed and said no way. I asked why he wouldnt and he pulled the reports for Phantom Menace, poor movie didn't do shit in our small town. I think this will be a totally different story now though. If only I could convince him.

Typically, don't small theaters have to pay more (compared to the B-list movies) to show the big A-list movies? Because of that, the margins on the tickets tend to be lower. So I can understand where he's coming from.
