it's predictable and doesn't seem to be much to discuss

Pretty much my thoughts on it lol. All of the "is her boyfriend actually bad?!" and "is Red her real father?!" moments were just like way too obvious to even use those as "twists" in the show. I did enjoy it though and will most likely check out the next season.

Ron Perlman To Appear On The Blacklist

Well, it’s not Hellboy versus Ultron… which would be very cool… but Ron Perlman has signed on to play the next major criminal on NBC’s The Blacklist when it returns on February 1st following the Super Bowl.

The veteran actor will play Luther Braxton, a meticulous and calculating thief whose heists are planned out over months and years. He uses chaos and diversions to get what he wants and this puts him in conflict with Red Reddington (James Spader)

The post Super Bowl episode will be the show’s return after a holiday break (the mid-season finale was last Monday) and marks the shows move to a new Thursday night time slot.

So I just started watching this and am pretty annoyed.

By the first time you see Keen's wrist and then the box in the same episode you clearly see that they are the same marking. How are we supposed to fucking believe this chick who has had this scar her entire life doesn't go "oh, hey, that's the exact same design!!"

Like, really? Is the viewer assumed to be that stupid?

This is definitely not a bad show. Spader definitely carries the show and he alone makes it worth watching. What did you guys think of the season finale?

show's excellent, it's always been one of my more anticipated shows

Finale was great, I like that most of the mysteries for the audience are solved and we'll be going into known territories. I think that'll take away a little bit from red's gravity/mystic but whatever, there still are a few things to hold over the audience's head (keen/red relationship and history for example)

Things we definitely still don't know is why the house was set on fire and is Red her uncle or a godfather perhaps?

I suspect it'll be something simple like keen's mother used to be red's lover

I think a lot of espionage-y mystery bits of the show have been revealed and tension/unknown will be introduced through keen's evading the authorities with red

Didn't even realize this came on three weeks ago. Too bad it's not on hulu anymore. Only watched the 1st episode but it was pretty good.

Yes. He's stated multiple times he's not her dad, but lots of things give a feel that is a lie. I can't really see it being something other than father/uncle/godfather.

I don't get how Mr. Kaplan came up with this extremely elaborate plan to fake Liz's death and get her body out, but then made it REALLY easy for Red to link Tom's escape to Cuba back to her.
