Oh yeah. I fully admit to being completely mystified by the people who buy the new CoD/Madden/Fifa every year.

I completely disagree with this. So many movies I watched a 2nd or 3rd time and noticed things I completely missed the previous viewing. Hell, I just started watching LotRs again and the experience is totally different as this time I watched it with Peter Jackson's commentary on the entire way
I dont know what the bitching is about. I just saw it and it does literally what it says on the box. They took B&B, made it live action, and added pretty.
Like, it's pretty simple. The songs were the same, the story was the same, it was enjoyable. 5head didnt even ruin it for me.
How the fuck is this not posted here yet?
This is sooooo much better than last year's Cinderella... where Cinderella avoided the "cartooniness" of the original, this had no issue embracing them, and was the better for it.
Spoiler: show
Saw it on Saturday with the wife, minutes after watching Logan.
General moaning in the theater every time a song busted out of nowhere pretty much every time after the halfway mark.
But yeah, it did exactly what it said it would do. Wife (35) cried; daughter (11) slept.
I think I'm being dragged to see this Tuesday but I owe her for Logan and like 30 other things over the years. Not guardian's though, that shits for both of us.
- I felt like Emma Watson's performance was very flat, although everyone else I know says they loved it.
- I really disliked the Beast, but same thing - other people loved him.
- I really liked Gaston; everyone I know thought he was mediocre lol.
- We can all agree that Le Fou is fucking brilliant (and the slight - VERY SLIGHT - gay innuendos really add to his character).
- Music and visuals were both fantastic.
- New scenes were small but really added to the story, probably my favorite part of the remake.
- New music was... well, Evermore is great but that's it.
Overall, satisfied but not blown away.
I dislike Josh Gad.
well I mean slight from the angle of "OMG BOYCOTT" slight
