So what's the deal with the different games? I see a new Kingdom Hearts Complete Package on PS Store for $99.99. It includes:

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix - $49.99

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue - $59.99

Kingdom Hearts III - $59.99

Looking at 1.5 + 2.5 and 2.8 individually, they seem to include a lot of the offshoot games or stories. With the naming scheme being fucking god awful, I feel like I'm missing something with the complete version being only $40 more but including $110 in content. I just wanted to double check that the Complete version is actually, you know, complete.

Pretty much what Fiye said. 1.5+2.5 will give you every game (some only in cinematic form which is a good thing honestly >_>) except Dream Drop Distance which you get for 2.8 which also comes with a bit of a KH3 demo (aka 0.2 Birth By Sleep).

I beat the GBA game [Sora and Riku]. I did not enjoy it.

I tried the Final Remix version on the PS3. I didn't even make it past the first zone.

What ruled the most though was by playing this I wasn't dissapointed when they let you figure out that half of org 13 was already murdered.

The game coming out originally on the Gameboy Advanced probably had something to do with it lol. Honestly, with 358/2 being on the DS and actually being an action RPG like most of the other KH games, I'm surprised they made it only a cinematic and didn't remaster/HD/beef it up with assets from KH1+KH2. It's ability equipping system is like a predecessor to what they did in BBS too

I think 358/2 would have benefited a LOT more from that kind of treatment than CoM did

THis is exactly how my replays of the games worked. CoM doesn't have enough plot for me to sit through that BS.

As shitty as it is, at least sleights are much more powerful in Re:CoM, and magic is absolutely broken. You can beat the entire game just spamming either Blizzaga or Firaga. Helps if you do manipulations to get tons of fire & blizzard out of magic packs.

I'm really more mad about the fact that I played KH1 on a phat PS3 in 2012 before the remaster came out so I don't get achievements for doing things like getting the ultimate keyblade. Which was a bitch on the not-final-mix version.
