What's dated about them? The gameplay is better than KH1 and 2 (which also got updated in the re-release), so if anything those are the dated games yet you're OK with them because...what, numbers? OK.

If you've played them already and just want a story refresher then cool, you probably need it, but if you've never played the games before then this conversation is fucking stupid because you should just play the better games.

But again, I'm not surprised people picking the option that doesn't make sense. It sounds like you just don't really like the games which is fine since you have better things to do than apparently play them.

I have only played KH 1 and 2 and that original GBA game. I plan to only really add BBS to my list. I dont think Dream Drop Distance is in any of the remixes is it? Should I bother playing it?

1 and 2 remix comes with CoM, Days and BBS iirc. D3 is part of the 0.2 release I think.

D3 pretty much links straight to KH3, there may be a recap of sorts but I think it's gonna be just as confusing as playing KH2 without playing CoM first. I would say play it, but if you had to choose between BBS and 3D I'd choose BBS.

Man if you have to choose which one to play that's even worse. The story is all over the place and not playing a game but still being "prepared" to play KHIII without it is beyond me.

Skipping all that jazz and just recapping with YouTube. I'm not enabling the bs that is releasing over half a dozen games on a myriad of systems but still expecting people to keep up, or expecting them to rebuy their game in a compilation. That just ain't for me.

In 1.5 but it's not playable, you can only watch cutscenes. Which is a good thing, the game isn't that great anyway.
