DayZ (standalone) is Arma III engine, and is as much PvE as PvP (avoiding other clans). Maybe Tom Clancy is more tactical. Like I said, I'm really excited for all of them. Maybe the advantage to TC is the simple fact of console.
I think most of the draw to the division is its location, and the scale at which they seemed to recreate that location(nyc). We really saw very little of the gameplay, so not much to go off of. Dayz to me comes off to me more centered on survival in the wilderness, just due to the fact that most of the map is wilderness. The division seems almost entirely like urban environment.
There also seems to be different technology levels in each game, dayz you're without electricity and it really is about making the best of what minimal amount of supplies you can scavenge. In the division, they had tablet controlled drones flying around.
I am still eagerly awaiting dayz, but if the division comes to pc I'll definitely check that out too.
I'm super pumped for this game. Probably my favorite game shown at E3.
I am definitely hyped for this as well. DayZ for PS4 would be interesting for sure, but this is already on the way and impressing me. I am really liking the idea, the ease of class/loadout switching etc. Really exciting, and completely out of nowhere too.
Yeah i was really surprised they were able to keep something that looks this good under wraps until its reveal at e3Really exciting, and completely out of nowhere too.
Clans can have unlimited membershttp://www.vg247.com/2013/07/01/the-...-clan-numbers/Ubisoft intends to offer robust clan support for The Division.
Speaking to IGN, the publisher confirmed it has plans for “a very extensive web-based clan support system”.
There won’t be a limit on the number of players you can recruit, either.
Ubisoft couldn’t state how many players will be able to share a single instance, but said that PvP will “play a very big role in our game”.
The Division is an open-world, massively multiplayer shooter with co-op and competitive play. It has players in the role of a member of a squad trained to respond to apocalyptic events; squads fight to repair and recover infrastructure, with an end goal of saving society from a “dark winter” situation. It’s set in New York, but Ubisoft told Catherine it may expand to other territories.

Coming late 2014http://www.joystiq.com/2013/07/18/th...e-end-of-2014/During Ubisoft's first quarter investor call today, CEO Yves Guillemot narrowed the release window of open-world Xbox One and PS4 RPG The Division to late in 2014.
"We can expect it will be closer to the end of the year than the beginning," said Guillemot, adding a follow-up clarification that he meant for the calendar year and not the fiscal, which would have meant January-March, 2015.
Today's call emphasized Ubisoft's next-gen strategy, which will be a heavy investment and focus on open-world games with multiplayer components.

I figured we wouldnt see this till holiday next year, destiny comes out before and does alot of the same things. We shall see.
I'm glad. They both look awesome and deserve their own due diligence.

I'll take it. Still my most anticipated game of 2014.
