I voted for Lion, because of all the expansion girls you actually get the least screentime with her, what with it being the first expansion which was much shallower on story compared to the rest, even if she was part of original storyline and returns in Apocalypse Nigh.

..i don't quite get the point of the Abyssea thing... but i'm guessing its that if you didn't buy Abyssea, you get to access it for free, and they're throwing in 9 atma, 1 lunar abyssite, cruor and some visitant bonus. i don't think they're bothering with free stones, because the event runs 2 full months and you can do quite a bit even if you start stockpiling stones from the first day...

it'd be quite sad if players who've already been to Abyssea don't get the bonuses... i could use 9 free atma that i don't have and more cruor
