Question about Prime, i asked one but didn't get any answer

If I get prime Today June 13 for the free month, and then I order something for August with Prime.

Since Amazon with the 'garantied date' If i cancel my prime in July, what will happen with my shipping?

Will they charge me, or will i Keep it as prime

I'm almost certain that Amazon honors whatever shipping method you selected at the time of purchase even if your Prime account is cancelled or expires before the item is capable of shipping.

I always shrugged off Prime because I'm generally not impatient about my shipping, but the video offerings are giving Netflix a run for their money (hi2u Downton Abbey Season 2).

The BEST thing is $4 upgrades to next-day shipping, including Saturdays, for when you forget to buy something for someone's birthday or you slack off on your Christmas shopping.

I just canceled mine because I don't get student discounts anymore. Don't order enough to justify 80 bucks. It told me that if I had ordered things that were gonna ship later they could change the shipping costs.

Amazon is also gonna start charging tax in my state in November so thats another deterrent. Not to mention 2 of my most recent 2 day deliveries ended up being 3 days. Been getting sour on Amazon lately.

Remember Prime is recurring, so cancel it immediately after ordering your item so that you don't get charged at the end of the month. You will still have prime for the rest of the month.

I was making a new email every month just for prime and think I went through about 12, but they did have a 50% off discount on the student membership recently that I jumped on. Prime is the absolute best thing ever.

Make fake email > sign up > order item > cancel prime

Repeat monthly.

Amazon Student free for 6 months, basically the same thing as prime, free two-day shipping, deals geared towards college students, etc. Also, $39 a year after the 6 months trial period.
