Welp, another season is officially in the books. And those books contain a bunch of F-bombs, because they're now partially written by Andrew Shaw. The upside to the lockout is that the draft is only six days after the end of the Finals, and free agency begins just six days after that.

And the important reminders that you'll need to keep congnizance of during the summer:
So have at it with your predictions and prognostications and prostate exams or whatever; and let's all be glad to know that next season will actually start on time(cough*SuckItJeremyJacobs*cough).
- 'Re-signed' and 'resigned' are two completely different, and actually pretty goddamn opposite concepts. If you use these interchangeably, I will have you banned until the regular season starts.
- Your team just hired that coach you hate, so don't be suprised when they also sign that player you hate.
- Glen Sather and Paul Holmgrem still haven't settled their bet to see who could make the single roster move that is so ridiculous that people will finally realize they're actually devious prank-loving imps wearing people-suits.
- Nick Lidstrom still isn't coming back. At least, I don't think he is...duh duh daaaahhhhh
- If Patrick Kane offers to buy you a drink, make sure you don't leave it unattended.
