CAP 1 LOL
CAP 1 LOL
cap 1 had one of the strongest first halves of any marvel film but damn it fell off a cliff after that. cap 2 GOAT
Needed more Captain America, Nazi Hunter/Puncher
I watched it and was thoroughly bored. I think I just hate the comic book movie formula at this point. I haven't like one in a long time.
We doing this? From Greatest Tier to Garbage Tier.
If the 1st Cap movie had a stronger 2nd half, it'd have been right along with its sequels. One of the strongest first halves followed by one of the weakest second halves.
A few of these like Guardians 2 and Ant man need a second watch, but I was originally let down after seeing Guardians 2 in theaters and Haven't had any urge to watch Ant man again.
Thor 3- I thought it was too jokey in parts it shouldn't have been- though it was Korg that brought the whole movie up as far as it got.

I did not like Cap 1 at all, shit was boring as fuck. IM2 was middle of the road.
I enjoyed Thor 1, didn't really like Thor 2. Thor 3 was above average tier if not top tier.
Honest question how much of the Iron man 3 hate has to do with how they did the Mandarin and how much is the movie itself? I mean Iron Man 3 had it's problems I just don't know how you put it under 2 unless you somehow expected a true to the comics version from PC police Disney.
EDIT Also Winter Soldier providing zero closure for Buckys story really knocks it down a peg for me.
I don't think Bucky is going to get closure until IW.
For me it was more due to Mandarin. I'm not much of a comic nerd, but i at least had a basis of who he was, and it pissed me off that they ruined what could have been an amazing performance from Ben Kingsley as him. If you can shut your brain off from that, it was a decent action flick, middle of the road for Marvel.
The entire plot of IM3 is fucking dumb. He had a whole house full of Iron Men that could operate on their own. That house was attacked. And he didn't use them.
normally I can deal with characters making a dumb decision to advance the plot, but that one was too much for me.
I was actually fine with the Mandarin. It was the rest I though was bad, especially the part where the terrorists were threatening tony and tony told them to attack him then very shortly after decided to throw a huge party and not bother to set up any kind of defense against an attack.
That and how the end of im3 was completely made pointless right at the beginning of the avengers movie
