I know I'm going to spend 3x attempts for capes on my main.
Yes, chances to get something I need AND with good augments are very very low, but still better than not trying.
Not like I'm not already doing Incursion.
Not like I have anything good to get from login points and kinda fed up on Beasty Shanks anyway.

just a general comment on the login campaigns- why did they remove the dwarf pugils from the rewards? Was actually fishing up matsya when I could skip a step lol.

Probably because they have an extremely high farm rate from rank 7 nets.

So for any of those thinking they were going to make the jse capes have decent augments think again. Just got pld one with just +3 vit. On the other hand also got a thf with 4dex 2 agi and 2 dw which is at least decent if you don't do incursion

So blu with 1 acc 24 mp... take that Nem0!!!! And a blm with mab +3 and 7 elemental skill. Not sure if that beats the wkr one even with capped dint. Now the big decision to get 2 more per character or a cat on a hat

. Oddly the crappier ones so far have been on my whm mule

The two capes I got:

Whm with 4 Cure Pot, 10 Healing skill, 9 Enhancing skill
Rdm with 10 Enhancing Skill, 7 M.Acc and 7 Enfeebling skill

Of course, both are level 49 for me.

Anyone got decent augs? I hope these capes aren't purposely weaker. So far both capes I got were crap:

Gunslinger Cape: MAB+1

SCH Cape: MND+1 INT+1 Regen+1

2 I've gotten so far are:
GEO: Geomancy +4, Indi Duration +12, Damage Taken -2%. Pet: Damage Taken -2%
DNC: Store TP +1, Reverse Flourish +28

I don't have GEO unlocked, so no idea how that even works really. haha

That geo one is actually really good. None of the values are all that high but none are on the low end either and you get all 4 and they are all useful stats for geo

I'm sure they took it out cause it was so shitty, everyone realized x/22 chance at getting a cape relevant to a job you use, then a really really shitty chance at a good cape wasnt worth it.

SE also replaced AF3+2 items with base emp feet. Everything else seems to be the same (replace Cat Cap with Sheep Cap ofcourse)

Be interesting to see what they will do next month since this is the last salvage set we havent had yet iirc ? wonder if the 45s are incoming or they just go back to the first set they gave us.

An NPC from WotG, famous because she was actually a Wyrm who could transform into human form and is several hundred years old. There's also a miniseries of quests involving her and showing some details of her background (imho it's completely out of place with the FFXI lore... but despite that I liked her).

During campaign battles, if you fulfilled certain requirements, she would trasform into a fafnir-like wyrm and fight along side other campaign players and npcs.

She's a wyrm from the near east that you meet in a WotG quest. And also a Freelance npc that fights in campaign battles in wyrm form.

What a shame... only reason I didn't get 4 last time was because I wanted to get cat on a hat. And if they had made it muleable I would've gotten a ton

Darn. Them removing AF3+2 items sucks, was being lazy and finishing off every job's Empyrean armor using login campaigns. >.> Already have all the feet +1'd at the very least.

Oh well, guess I'll complete another Salvage +1 set.
