If you use windower, you can use the speedchecker program to test it.
Equip a movement speed armor piece, then activate the cheer and see if the number changes.

If you don't have that side by side comparison over a distance works well
Ok so I tested using Speedchecker, and the cheer is interesting. First off it appears to be only +2% (might be a rounding thing but not sure). And secondly it does in fact stack with gear speed. A couple values:
Base: 0%
Base + cheer: 2%
Jute(NQ) + cheer: 12%
Jute(NQ) + cheer: 14%
Geo Sandles: 12%
Geo Sandles + cheer: 14%
Councilor's Garb: 24%
Councilor's Garb + cheer: 26%
Skadi+1 + cheer: 16%
Skadi+1 + cheer: 18%
Gaiters: 12%
Gaiters + cheer: 14%
Brb Getting Sabotender NOW.
Edit:
Are we sure the last Cactuar Cheer gives CAPACITY POINTS and not Exp points like the 2 previous cheers? Want to make sure it's not a translation error.
Let me go kill some sheep and I'll see if I can math backwards that the cheer is in fact cap points.
Edit:
Just did the quick math on sheep and it does in fact appear to be 7% CP
If someone can edit the wiki, Lunar Wyrm still strongly resonates with Liquids.
Collected items from blazing wyrm and got Megalodon and Ambrosia. Weird.
Unless I'm blind and I 'm not seeing it, anybody knows how many stars are required for the Abyssal Wyrm > Burning Wyrm trade?
And how many for the Wyvern > Blue Wyvern?
I can also confirm that for the Dragon Hathling, similar to what happened for the Behemot Cub, using Honey Tea and Sweet Tea is not a requirement for evolution, but just a uhm... something to speed up things I guess?
The NATURAL evolution (i.e. no squirm food used) is Dragon Hatchling > Abyssal Wyrm > Lunar Wyrm
Beaming with pure contentment is +1 level to all interactions.
Just +1 level? I thought it was max level? Because even actions that would normally make pet angry, "strongly resonate". Check for instance Behemoth and KB.
The true test for a best interaction is if it strongly resonates while it's not beaming, or if you get a moogle star.
It can happen any time really. I got squirm messages on other mobs starting around 1.5 stars or so, but 2.5 stars has the best chance (90% or higher) of an evolution occurring with the proper food. And with items like sweet tea, you're better off waiting for the best chance of a evolution, no?
to get the blue wyvern, I tried at trade at 2 stars, it got visibly angry and did not squirm. had to wait to 2.5.
Babies can squirm at 1.5 stars, adults squirm at 2.5
It depends on the evolution. Dragon hatchling -> wyvern is 1.5 stars, dragon hatchling -> abyssal wyrm is 2.5.
