I kinda agree with not paying an inflated price for Arise. But I wonder what people expect. Advice is to level cor/geo/whm if you want invites to endgame stuff. If I was told to level a job I don't care about to gear the one I do, it will not be anywhere close to decked out with gear/spells.

Yeah, and it's not like 6mil is:
1) A lot of money. It's 6x 25 minute SSR2 salvage runs.
2) Some first-sale inflated Arise price. That shit has been out for months and tons of them have sold. That's just what the market has decided it is worth.

The person complaining about Arise prices is someone who flaunts having a lot of money too, but 6mil is still not a lot of gil for the average player. You also don't need to tribox to solo salvage2, just need entry assistance.

My point is, you aren't doing those time efficient runs without mule accounts. By the time your friends/paid warpees get there, and minus the cost whatever you paid/tipped those people, a 25min/1m run quickly can quickly become a 1hr+/700-800k 'run'. Sometimes I could find people quickly for 100k each, and sometimes I've shouted for well over an hour paying 150k-200 per player until I just gave up. And this was pre-SoA into early SoA (when salvage 2 armor were worth making), when significantly more people were playing the game.

Seems like a pretty shitty way to make gil with that hassle attached.

Happens to me a lot in the fracture. I hit my macro and it goes off with no animation, nothing in chat log, and nothing in timers but the spell has gone off. Although when it happens to me, the "starts casting" and "casts" messages are both missing.

What's disturbing is how this problem is only going to get far worse if they really are doing things like lowering entry reqs/re-relevantizing old instanced zones.
