just random for cape drop... but if you are a mule, u will get 80% better drop rate than your main

my main did and get alot more xp/bayld but only landed 1 cape (sam one tho thank godddd) and my mule gotten 4 in the same period of time over 3 days (war/cor/run/blu)

and of course none of the job was leveled for my mule for those capes....

I got 2x drop on day one. Not likely to happen anymore thou with dozens of idiots zerging the boulders at every reive before evaluations have a chance to build up to two items.

Going all out on bolders actually gave me 4 of my 5 capes and reives are up sooner. If you dont get items, change job to a heavy DD. Sure, you wont get as much bayld as with everyone working together, however I'm there for capes and I always get items (pebbles) at least. People always complain about rocks going down too fast, but in the end I found no more effective way to get capes than bashing all you've got against the wall.

I ve been goin pld/war (no aegis or ochain) and whm/blm mule (club is only 2 hundredish and staff 100 so not doin too much dmg). sometimes i put whm on boulder sometimes he is jsut sitting back, depends on whose doin the battle with me. Both have been gettin roughly the same rewards exp/bayld wise (usually the pld gettin a tad bit more). the whm has gotten nothin but iron sand. and my pld has gotten drg and rdm capes within first 4 or 5 battles and nothing since, doin reives for bout 3-4 hours. Multiple evaluations and everything. The ones i did get capes on i definately got multiple evals.

I did about 30~ Reives (Marjami) and got only peeble or sand, ores , etc ... Nothing interesting >< No Capes. Going as SAM/DNC and getting about 700 bayld/exp.
Any tips ?

This what I (have to) do to even get 1 item, but it seems impossible to get 2 drops with reives going down this fast, regardless of how much damage you do.

That is not always true. The 2 capes I got from in above screenshot were obtained after I soloed 2 adds and never touched boulder.

not doubting or saying you lie, but it is common fact if you want to prove anything, u need SS

people were saying marble nuggets come off mining in moh gates way back and everyone believed and everyone went digging for days and nada

shit is frustrating but since someone else did the SS for you, great to know double drops!

I just literally did one reive for 3 hours+ got nearly 10k bayld and got a pebble on one character and iron sand on the other. very disappointing. We had bout 6 people and a smn with pet on rocks (not doin any pacts). it was in marjorm ravine and it was 2 rocs and 2 penguins on each side. mobs were poppin 10 seconds after we killed them even if we killed one in 20 seconds. We jsut never could get to the rocks.

and we had some RNG after a while pelting the rocks down slowly on the last rock we tried to pull the mobs with invincible and go all out on the rocks and they got it to 15% and we all died and the two with Reraise got up but before they could get reraise up someone got up by the rocks got killed and everyone came after the two tryin to get reraise up, which didnt make it! we sat there for bout 15 mins or more when luckily a whm came up and arised us and anew ranger showed up and gunned the last 15% down. our original rng had completely ran out of ammo.

the whole time i wanted to jsut leave and do reives that more people were at or different mobs but i wanted to just see if a ton of evaluations would work over 3 hours for a cape since i already spent so much time there. Plus makin some bayld isnt so bad either!

The reive was short and jam-packed with people. It's my first cape, and it's the one I wanted, too—I know I'm rather lucky that the roll was in my favor.
