Friends I am here to sing the praises of Amazon Prime's show Patriot. It's a delightfully dark comedy that feels pretty much lifted straight from the book of Coen Brothers and filmed by Wes Anderson. About halfway through season 1 and every episode is a god damn treat. Its about a spy who is coming off a breakdown and is tasked with preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities and everything just keeps going wrong and piling up and it is hilarious as is the zany cast of characters around him

oh yea for sure. Its insane that his suffering is one of the more charming parts of the show. I was SO sad for him when he wasn't able to see his wife at the motel, but him constantly getting the short end of every single god damn situation is what makes this fucked up show so damn entertaining.

So a bunch of long flights left me rather board and southwest offers some Hulu free shows onboard so grabbed 11.22.63 because James Franco is pretty funny. Turns out it's a serious role but he does a good job of it. Based on the King novel only like 3 episodes in but would definitely recommend it. Basically about Franco going back in time to stop the assassination of JFK
