Hello! We are Kraken Club! We are openly recruiting on the Gilgamesh server for phase 4 and beyond. At our core is a group of players who have played many MMOs together for years such as FFXI (e.g. Remedy/TribeFTW/Machina from Asura), WoW, Rift (e.g. Tabula Rasa), and SWTOR (e.g. Shadow Dragon Universe, Reddit Empire), among other games. We are dedicated to being a positive influence on our server and creating an even greater experience for our members.

Our locale ranges from US east to west coast, but we welcome players from any region that feel our times meet their needs. We are looking for casual and hardcore players alike. Hardcore players will naturally mature into raid positions until a time when we must accommodate more than 24 raiders (plus 4-8 extra so we can rotate if people need to sit out some nights.) We are very active on our forums and Mumble, and we encourage others to do so as well.
NOTE: the ability to at least listen to Mumble will be required for raids.

Our goals as a Free Company include experiencing and conquering all difficulties of end-game content that will be available. We also aspire to not only have a vibrant Free Company Hall, but we also want to push for the first FC Hall on the server. We feel this is a very tangible goal that everyone will have fun reaching for. Our admins are passionate about staying ahead of the curve, or even setting the curve.
NOTE: Most of us will be selecting Maelstrom (Limsa Lominsa) as a Grand Company, but this is not a requirement.



Here is a general itinerary for our short term goals:

• Week 1-2: have fun, unlock classes, do quests, etc
• Week 3-4: have fun, (raiders) determine which class/job you want to raid with
• Week 4-5: have fun, (raiders) have your main job level 40-50
• Week 5-6: have fun, (raiders) consider having a main DoL/DoH up to par for materia mending
• Week 7-8: have fun, (raiders) have an advanced job at 50 so we can start running raids

NOTE: This is a very general timeline and may naturally fast forward depending on how many members we have with early access so we can hit the ground running.
