I know it's already posted in the General Gaming News thread, but to spread the word around for those who didn't notice.

It was already released on the Wii Virtual console.
But seriously what a joke. As far as ruining series and crappy games goes Capcom is the worst company on the market right now.
This was one of the worst pieces of news for my 2013.
Looks like they're taking a note from Square Enix.
See, I was gonna compare them to SE but at least with SE they have some potentially awesome things in the works, like XV, KH3 and arguably XIV ARR. Capcom has consistently produced crap for the past few years with the exception of one or two new IPs, and successfully ruined almost all of their old IPs, while having nothing exciting in store for the future.
Where the hell are those FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU explosion gifs when you need them.
I'm absolutely convinced Capcom is hell bent on alienating every single long-time fan for every single IP they own not named Street Fighter.
Don't even fucking try with the SF4 knocking, its success is responsible for probably every single fighting game you've seen since '09.
The genre was literally dead (especially in the US) until that game came along.
Now SFxT, yes is garbage.
Lame

Fuck you, Capcom. No MH Frontier G in the states, no MH Online in the states, no Ryu/Fou-Lu/Nina/Garr in UMvC3 and now this???
Fuck you.
I'm not about to get into another stupid argument as I've had my fill of those for the month but really? Responsible for such gems as Soul Calibur V, PS Allstars, etc. I'd say the only good fighting game the success of SF4 caused was Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, and Virtua Fighter 5 was already a great game back in '07. I suppose you could add Injustice: Gods Among Us to the list if that game is good, I haven't played it so I can't comment.
However all I was saying that if you objectively compare SF4 to SF2 or any of the good iterations of SF2, it's straight up slower. It's great that it revitalized the genre and all though. I'm all for that.
EDIT: At the very least it's way better than SF3: Third Strike lol
EDIT EDIT: In the interest of not derailing the topic any further I'm going to address the "fail" people are claiming I made when I made my first edit only once. Third Strike was the most unbalanced pile of fail Capcom had ever made up until SFxT came out, where I'd say they were on equal ground. The parry system was easy to master and broke any semblance of balance that game had going for it. People defend the hell out of that game and yeah, it had some improvements but the parry system alone is reason enough to not ever play it.
Not like this, Capcom...
Not...
