Some of you Fairy folk may remember seeing a guy named Mozhat running around. Dude had farming those CCBs down to an art form. My LS used to run people through to get people Sea access, on a weekly basis, and that fight was one of the major chokepoints. Every week he would show up with dozens of those fuckers (delivery-box storage ftw) that he had farmed or just straight up bought... because he was just a nice guy. Pretty sure he still plays, on Sylph.

Snoll Tzar was harder than the fuckin' Airship fight.

Airship was easy. We had 3 CCB Polymer pumps and only ended up using one because we realized when we were most of the way through that our dry run (for practice) was going well enough that we'd win.
We literally 1/1'd it. We expected it to be harder than it was and overprepared I guess... but it was 2ez.

Snoll Tzar was only hard because it was a DPS check in an era were the vast majority of people had shit DPS. Airship was hard because if you didn't have a competent group then you were fucked six ways from Sunday.

o.0 Promathia was easy as hell! We all commented on how ridiculously easy this fight was compared to something like Airship - which also wasn't too bad on my NIN, it was mainly other players you couldn't rely on which could make that fight hard. Even Ouryu could be easy depending on what you took with you, we mana burned it with BLMs and it was laughably easy. Promathia did have the best fighting arena ever though.

I'm trying to enjoy the nostalgia of fights in my first ever MMO that I did years ago and enjoyed beating years ago. Not debate/discuss, many years later, how difficult they were when you went with setups built to beat the fights as easily as possible. Especially in a thread dedicated to random images.

drg actually wasn't bad for CoP. There weren't really any jobs that sucked, as long as you knew what you were doing. Red mage was always the hardest, though, because so many red mages didn't know their ass from their REFRESH THE PLD GOD DAMN IT, NOT ME. I'M A FUCKING SAMURAI WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING
