All of the stop signs and those fish eye mirrors that we have around corners on the campus where I work get run over and knocked over by big trucks constantly. It baffles me that they either don't see it, or don't care and just plow right over them anyway

They see them, they just don't have enough room to make the corner, so the trailer has to go up over the sidewalk/grass/flowerbed and take out anything in its path. It is an issue with poor road design and/or poor business locations that require truck access but don't plan for it.

I see it all the time in our business complex where I work. The entry is more than wide enough for 2 trucks to pull in at the same time, but there is not enough room for 2 trucks to back into the docks between buildings. So this bottlenecks the trucks at the entrance while they wait for other drivers to clear the docks. This is in a building that was specifically designed for 53' trailers and they still fucked it up.

That's the problem here. I've only seen it affects of it twice though, as the place the trucks go is a few blocks away from me and only the most retardedest drivers who miss the 5 other direct routes to the place try cutting through here.
