don't you ever speak poorly of let it ride again

for your question about getting chips, just sit down at a table and put your money on it. dealer will turn it into chips. you can ask them to break it down into whatever chips you want, for the amount you said probably 5 dollar chips. since you're going Monday-Wednesday there should be plenty of 5 dollar minimum tables during the day, and should find 10 dollar tables at night.

also avoid the first seat at a blackjack table if you don't know what you're doing, because then you also fuck up everyone's hand. next to last seat or third from last should be ok. if you have any questions speak up, people will gladly give advice

also yes, take out whatever money you're going to use beforehand and DO NOT USE YOUR ATM CARD. that way you don't get sucked in, and also most casino ATMs can be like a 5 dollar withdrawal fee

Yeah, I don't see how this makes any sense at all with many casinos using multiple (I think like 5+) decks at a time. And if they aren't, learn to count cards bro, it's not hard.

Kind of? Some people like to put blame on the last spot if they hit and the resulting cards the dealer gets lead to them winning the hand. Casinos will stack the odds nowadays by using multiple decks mixed together to help mess with peoples ability to track what's still available. It's more of a superstition these days than anything else because of that, but it's still a really bad idea to sit at the last spot if you're unsure of what you're doing, otherwise you could end up with other people at the table pretty angry with you.

Oh! And some places have player reward cards. Go in to the customer service desk and inquire. A lot of times, you can get free buffet tickets, show tickets, room tickets, and double money back.

So no, it doesn't make any statistical sense. I guess that's why they are gambling then, if they are superstitious.

Also, I've heard there are ways to win at roulette, statistically, but I haven't tried them.

Everytime you lose, double your bet and play again. Never fails, ever.

Hookers is only reason to go near a casino. All the secondhand smoke you can handle also.

    I work for a slot/vlt making company.

Treat any money you put into slots as entertainment expense. If you win, great, but don't go in looking to win on them.

If you want to come back and let me know the names of some slots games you play (if you do) I'd be interesting if you hit any of the ones my company made.

    what? lol

And even though it really doesn't matter i'll avoid the left and right side of dealer and try to sit as close to the middle as possible. Thanks for the advice. So the Free play promotion basically gives me my money back in the form of credits on the table/machine and or takes a while to receive?

    Thanks for all the input

100-150 each probably wont last you more than a few hours even at 5$ tables, although it could if you use the blackjack hand advice that was given earlier.

Play that almost exclusively. Hang out near the craps tables and watch the fireworks but dont go losing money there, unless you can do odds/evens just to be apart of it. Don't bother with anything else. Casinos are meant to take money, not give you it, so the idea is to make your bankroll last as long as possible in order to have fun. $5 blackjack will do just that, but make sure to follow the image posted. When dealer has 23456 is most important.

Does this charge work as well? It seems a lot simpler to memorize (would prefer to not have to take a big ass chart and have to check it every hand)

Yeah that definitely works. Whatever feels comfortable for you. After a little while you won't have to look at the chart (like when a dealer shows 10, which they will most of the time, it's pretty obvious). I'm sure you can find a free to play blackjack app just to get the hang of it.

Fuck, now I want to go to Atlantic City.

See, I haven't been in years, probably think it's way nicer than it actually is. My buddy said one of the newer ones (Revel?) was awesome. Was in Vegas back in January but don't have the time to take off work to fly there and make it worthwhile.

Harrah's poker room was my old haunt. Those 30-hour grind sessions would probably kill me now. Also get off my lawn etc.

Hmm. Looking up the house edge on those games, and it's not quite as terrible as I thought.

But those are derived from being on your game at all times. Which certainly isn't happening when I'm at a casino of all places. There's a reason why they're bringing loaded, boozy drinks to your table, after all.

Which is another thing: Drinks while gambling are free. Be wary of this, since they're loading you up with liquor so you'll play longer and waste more money.
