You will never leave a table with cash (except what you have left in your wallet, if any). You always purchase chips with your cash when you sit down and will leave with chips. You then go to the cashier counter and exchange the chips for cash before leaving/going to the next table. A few other pieces of etiquette:

1. Before sitting down at a table of blackjack, if it is in the middle of the shoe, ALWAYS ask the other players if they mind if you come in or if they want you to wait for the next shoe. If they are on a roll and winning, they may not want you to change the flow of the cards.
2. Before you leave the table with any chips, if they can be changed for higher value chips, tell the dealer to "color me up". This means the dealer will take your low value chips and exchange them for larger denomination chips. (ie 20 $5 chips become 1 $100 chip).

Edit: The NUMBER ONE most important rule is to have fun. If you get irritated because your losing, just walk away, you'll feel better and the people around you will as well.

As it stands gf is up about 10 bucks between random, slots and black jack and I'm down around 30 ( lost 40 on black jack last night and 10 on slots but made 20 in black jack today) new question is +3 poker worth it? Basically bet 5 bucks extra and if I get pair strait ext it pays 9:1 a lot of people are doing it and most are winning but the casino wouldn't offer it if it wasnt in their faver... But only having to win once out of 9 hands seems like it shouldn't be that bad... Avoid or no

Huh, I used to play 3 card all the time and the dealers card has nothing to do with the dealers hand outside of ante/beat the dealer bet, or is that one of the side bets for black jack which is horribly tilted in the casino's favor?

Dealer deals the black jack cards and their first card. Based off your two cards and their card (three total) if you have 3 of a kind flush ext from those 3 cards u win 9:1 ( game is called black jack + 3 card poker) but I think ill just avoid it unless im up by a good bit. Wondering if anyone here plays MyVegas? It's a facebook game that has slots & blackjack. You get daily free coins and more you play more level ups to unlock stuff. The thing that makes it different is that you get "tokens" which can be converted into REAL items ie. free tickets to shows, hotels and even the ability to chose a song during the water show. Curious if anyone has any scripts? XD

Whatever you guys, I love slots. I went to Tahoe casinos and won $400 total on 3 different slots within an hour of being there. (I was extremely lucky).

The problem with penny slots is that you can still play $1.00 per pull. I'd say stick to nickel slots because they aren't as jerky with the pull options...

All of the video slots (excluding mechanical reel games and video poker/black jack games) have 2 different options you can choose how many paylines to play and what bet per payline to make. This gives you quite a few options on what your total bet will be.

Also what Sath said is true. Casino's hire statisticians to build their games and set the rules. They are very good at their jobs and make sure there are no exploits in the games and make sure the odds are tipped in the favor of the house always. This is for ALL games where you are playing against the house. Poker is a different story since you play against other people.

Though sometimes executives or marketing people have been known to make adjustments or changes to the rules of games to beat competitor casinos and in the past this has introduced exploits where you can tip the odds in your favor. These are hard to find and are usually patched up pretty quickly. There is a network of professional blackjack players in this country that keep track of all the different casinos and send word out when an exploit is found so all the other players can flock to that casino and take it for a lot of money.

The odds for slot machines are not as bad as people seem to think. Depending on the casino some of them actually run very generous slot games that are on par with table games with respect to the odds of winning and your expected outcome.
