I was just about to come in here and say I've never had any issues in HC and DC'ing but yeah. My champ is dead due to one.

Lost a DH today due to a DC (comcast router), but also cleared GR55 solo HC WD so I'm ok with it.
Anyone still playing? Getting burnt out on Destiny and considering coming back to this or PoE. Love PoE, but it's also like having a second day job.
Haven't really been playing since I got the "Nothing is dropping to improve my character..." blues, which is kind of irksome since I don't feel any of my current 3 seasonals are that well off. I still stand behind the fact they stealth nerfed Kadala to coincide with the cube launch, which is no doubt contributing to my ennui.
I would love to still be playing, but i dunno, i've not really played much since S4 started. just don't have the drive to play it.
Started a soft core seasonal monk I have static charge, and heal spec geared just need more paragon and ancients.
This was why I shifted to PoE in the Summer; it's a grind and a half, but the upward ceiling on gear progression is extremely high and most will never get close. It kind of reminds of D3 crossed with old school FFXI; took two weeks of grinding to buy my first Lightning Coil (high end dmg mitigation body armor). Started up a new PoE character last night since the new one-month Darkshrine league started.
If PoE didn't feel so sluggish and skill resets weren't such a hassle, I'd give it more time than I have. Figuring out your own builds is cool and all, but spending 20+ hours just to find out you fucked up somewhere isn't so much.
Hope this panel is worth half a shit because it is pretty disappointing for D3 to not even get a mention on the main stage this morning. (I don't count a 2 second mention of patch 2.4 as being anything meaningful).
Set Dungeons: Hey we came up with this new dungeon type you can do when you get your set and once you finish it you can get a pennant as a reward, isn't that cool? Wtf? Lots of QoL improvements for 2.4 but it is fairly underwhelming overall..
bit of a shame Diablo is on the backburner. in the guest house. that's been vacant for a few years.
Aren't you thankful?!
Big takeaway from the event is that seasonal exclusive equipment is being scrapped. New items will be available for everyone come patch time. Will probably only ever do a seasonal character if I can get PLed and what I'm after doesn't need my soul in time.
- PTR likely Thursday-ish. So we can see what the did to old sets and new items.
- S4 won't end until late December, which probably means post-new year 2.4.
- Doing seasonal things will unlock additional stash tabs on top of other cosmetic rewards.
- Monster HP for 1-3 players will be reduced.
- +EXP mods are going to be reduced, likely including Rubies, but overall EXP gains are going to be increased elsewhere.
- Gold can be spent on a special type of GR to grant an additional upgrade chance.
- Unwanted legendary gems can be sacrificed via a cube recipe to add +mainstat to an ancient item. Proposed formula was gem level x 5. Repeat attempts overwrite prior value.
- Server performance updates won't hit until 2.4.
- Trying to analyze shit GR mob/map placements to curb fishing and possible OP RGs.
- New story-ish zone and events with like 16 monster types.
- Something like 150+ new bounties spread over the acts.
...and probably a couple other things I'm forgetting at the moment.
Bump.
Season 4 ends on December 30th. Season 5 starts on January 15th.
Just FYI!
Nice, i feel like the seasons always take forever. Normally i get a good month, maybe out of a season. I think next time i'll do hardcore only to really change how i play.
I exclusively played HC in Diablo II, then I finally rolled a HC Crusader for Season 4. It really does change the entire feel of the game, it's well worth taking a shot at it.
Come play Devilian haha
Been dabbling in Devilian, myself. Hate how inventory expansion seems to be casher only after the newbie quest.
Anyway, yes, seasons last entirely too long in D3. I kinda feel like the devs are being pants-on-head retarded for some of the stuff they've tweaked/nerfed in this PTR cycle so far.
Hadn't heard of Devillian, but looks like there's a lot to offer; too much, in all honesty. I think if I want to go down that rabbit hole, I'd rather do it in Lost Ark, if it ever becomes a thing.
Yeah, that's why I haven't tried it. Also, I played Guild Wars a little bit years ago and it never stuck for me; Devilian reminds me of that.
