I've had to log off for work, but during the time I could play I noticed much improved server response times.

How do I change my 1.0 character to the character I created in the benchmark? I don't see the option.

I couldn't find the option to load saved character data to my legacy character which kind of defeated the entire purpose of cc benchmark for me had to just alt tab between cc benchmark and the game to get it how I wanted it.

I've been a bit out of the loop for ffxiv, but well, today's the day I guess.

Since the random questions thread is archived, here's one random question: Can I create a second character when I have legacy status, so I can start a new char on a new characters server while keeping my 1.0 character? Going back to Odin after being on Odin for such a long time after all.

Anyone know how to DELETE a character? I only have one slot, apparently, and I want to delete my shitty 1.0. so I can actually play the game (his server is full forever anyway).

So once you make your character you're locked to that server yea? No news of being able to move servers or any of that sauce yuh?

Paid server transfers supposedly opening up a few weeks into release.

Server locks are temporary during the starting hours. It is only short term temporary. Follow the twitter for constant updates.

Apparently you had to copy files from benchmark folder to the game folder for it to work or something..

I didn't have to do that, it picked my saved benchmark data by itself...

Game is much more responsive imo, but that might be the ssd and extra 5 gigs of ram I added lol.

I'm not sold on the English voices, lalafel so far sounds silly and the hyur one sounds like what I expected elezen to sound like.

Thancred's voice is extremely jarring. Wasn't what I was expecting.
