We are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with the regions of your code and Square Enix account.
Codes can only be used on Square Enix accounts of the same region that they were purchased in. European codes can only be registered on European accounts. Please note that you will be able to access servers from all regions, regardless of your accounts region ? European customers can therefore play on North American servers should they prefer to.
As North American pre-order codes (which in turn redeem North American Early Access codes) are distributed only by North American retailers, please confirm that you purchased the game through a European website and paid for it in a European currency.
Please be aware that customers who purchased the game from the Square Enix North America Store or GreenManGaming.com and received a European Early Access code during redemption, can now receive a new (NA region) Early Access code by simply re-redeeming their 18-digit pre-order code. Should you continue to receive a European code instead of a North American code please contact the North American Support Centre:

We are unfortunately unable to change the region of accounts via our system. We would advise you to create a new Square Enix account that matches the region of the code you are trying to register. Alternatively, should you prefer to continue playing with the characters currently on the incorrect region account, you might consider applying for a refund for the game from the retailer you purchased it from. You would thereafter need to purchase the game from a retailer in the region your account is set to.
