You need all the 50 abilities, so even if you want to specialize you gotta get them all to 50. You don't want to try to survive without stuff like byregot's blessing. Steady Hand II (wvr) is nice, but BB (CRP) and Comfort Zone (ALC) are both good for leveling too.

But hell, maybe specialist is so awesome it doesn't matter.

Actually, save your time, don't both with crafting. Spend that time doing something useful like pissing into the wind or telling Trump his hair is terrible.

From what I gather, its Fresh Water Bait.

Specifically, the Purse Web Spider it seems.

You Straight Shot, and then Mooch from Aethereye.

Only Available from 9 PM ET until 12 AM, caught more often from experience during cloudy weather, but CAN be caught in all.

At least thats what my studying has shown.

Sounds about right, should be 600ish Collect with capped perception.


EDIT:: Has anyone noticed a huge disparity between the red seals distribution between the diff crafters? My Carpenter´s was getting me 22 seals x craft (birch composite bow), unstarred,while my Alt´s BSM can only get 16, on a starred recipe ( adamantite hatchet, no less)... wtf is going on :.: Fucking SE´s Logics.

I think it depends on whether it's a standard level 60 recipe or a Mastercraft III book recipe.

CUL has some 60 synths that aren't locked behind the books (like Deep Fried Okeanis), but yeah most DoH have all their Lv60 synths entirely inside the Master Books. I don't really know how it decides the amount of scrips to give. # of ingredients? # of different ingredients? SE's own decision on how difficult/worthy said ingredients are?

Adamantite Hatchet is 5 items (4 different)
Birch Composite Bow is 8 items (5 different)

Eh I guess. SE and their dictatorship. All should reward the same scrips imo, very much like Blue scrips do.

Both of the items I mentioned require pretty expensive/timed materials to craft btw, so it isnt like one is much easier to craft than the other.

Can you start getting Maroon glace for script exchange before 59?

I think it might show up at 58? I've only ever seen Rowena ask for Marron Glace or Liver Cheese Sandwich in that slot, but they're both Lv59 synths, so I'm not 100% sure. It's whatever level that last blue scrip slot opens for any DoH.

Bladed Steel Jig will eliminate the need for mooching; I suspect Brute Leech (new blue scrip bait) will do the same. The window is from 9PM until midnight afaik

Like almost all collectable fish, you need to reel in a HQ for it to be sufficient (more or less, I know you can get a NQ high enough but yea)

Thanks to Garland Tools you can see all the possible red scrip items, for regular fish it's Thunderbolt Eel or Tiny Axolotl (both can be mooched, but lv60 freshwater bait will eliminate the need for that)

Again, fish more or less need to be HQ; Thunderbolt Eel window should be from 10PM to 3AM (fixed). I don't know if counterfoil items change, but Thunderbolt Eel at 834+ is the Fishing counterfoil turn in atm for me

(The folklore fish are Capelin [Coerthas]; Loosetongue [Dravania]; and Stupendemys [Abalathia])

I'm kind of jealous MIN/BTN only have 1 non-folklore turn in (Adamantite Ore/Chysal Green)

Not entirely sure tbh, 3:30 would be a weird window but would explain the discrepancy in data there.
I've never caught one past 3AM, the 2am was a mistake whoops

For anyone yet to hit 60 in a craft (that isn't CUL), has an abundance of leves, and doesn't mind sinking a little gil: a lot of 56 leves are NPC-buyable from the Ok'Zundu's merchant. I pretty much just powered LTW, WVR, and ARM the last leg to 60.

Thanks for that, my ARM is my only non-60 and I keep dreading it. This ought to speed things up (I was originally going to mine a ton of titanium, buy xp scrolls w/ blue scrips, and just quick synth my way to 60).
