Artisan specs can only yield 1 MC demi, it's why people moved onto Needles once they lowered the number of items needed.

Yes. I know. I mean for some reason, the specs can give me the MCs, but Needles refuse to put out lol

I know items like twinthread are old content for a lot of people, but I'm making a ton lately because I'm making silver brocade for artisan needle turn ins.

My current macro if any of my basic touches don't land on an excellent or good, I only finish at 92% from base mats.

Can anyone help me with a macro?

This is my current macro. I start with 345 CP without food and finish with zero. I would prefer the macro to be 15 steps or less and to not use food (so I can use just one macro and no food obviously).

For optimization so far, you can use manip instead of WN2 since you're only getting 25 dura from the WN2. What's your current stats for crafts/control?

Edit: Backsolved it at ~395 control. The macro below got 100% with NQ stuff.

WN2 is going to be your CP waster there since you're only using 5 progress-depleting actions within it, you should be able to squeeze out a Standard Touch if you use Manipulation instead. Here's what I made for myself 6 months ago:

    /micon "Brand of Wind"
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me>

Back when I wrote that up, I had 341 control and it didn't make it 100% all the time. It might now that control values (and CP) are boosted. Also, you can continue bumping the touches up as your CP allows. You might be able to knock that Standard Touch up a notch with your extra CP.

Dang super beaten. I should refresh pages before I respond while I'm doing work. I like mine better because fuck Innovation (also I can fit a /micon on mine).

Actually if I put the Manipulation there I only gain 20 durability out of it because I haven't done any durability moves yet and steady hand II is next. If I use it after steady hand, I only get 4 basic touch with steady hand.

    Edit: In response to Yukari.

Which is why you don't use it in the same place as you've been using Waste Not......as exemplified by both of the alternate rotations posted.

Thanks Raldo, that helped me to think about putting the durability recovery move in the middle and adding touches at the end when your buffs are on.

Yep, this looks like the win. Even better, it only uses 338 CP, which means my other crafters at 341 cp can use it too.

Just be careful on using that for non-4*-ready classes, as you may not have enough CRF to finish it with one CS2.

Is there a website or link or google doc of what desynths into what?

Specifically, I'm looking for every single item that desynths into a rose gold ingot, or has a chance to.

  14. #1954

Anything crafted using it, other than that any non-crafted item ilvl 70 or higher should have that as a potential desynth afaik.

Just played with the numbers on the crafting sim, and you only need like 324 crafts to hit it in a IG2 CS2. This worked way back when AF was the best you could get.

So I looked through thread, the first post has been updated to include three star 80 durability macros, but not 40 durability macros.

This is what I came up with from the crafter http://link.ffxivcrafter.com/?id=cbff9 and confirmed that CS II + ING II and Rapid synth does provide enough progress.

This is a hell of a lot of RNG with all the hasty touch and the Rapid synth, but I was able to 92% the one Camelot I tried (got a good proc on byregots, but that's all).

    Anyone got suggestions?

edit: Obviously well timed ToT procs can turn hasty touches into basic touches depending on #.

Is there an item for weaver like Rose gold clasps for gsm? That you can synth/desynth at about the same ilvl and maybe get mats back to try again?
