I spent a whole week farming the healer body and ended up giving up later Sunday and just took the mnk body, then first run on reset it dropped. ;x

This is why I don't farm specific pieces and just take the first one I need that drops.

All of my standing in random places during the last boss of Haukke Manor HM finally payed off, and I was able to find a way to break LoS from the charm move and avoid it completely. Mildly useless, but you can bet your ass I'll do it each and every time I'm in there from now on.

Didn't grab a screenshot because derp, but in the far back right of the room there are two cages and some rubble just to the left of them. Wedge into the rocks, and the move will miss if she's fought in that half of the room.

Shitty coil every reset day recently, but with a whm who never touched t4, a tank who cleared on a different job but was bad on war, oh and pld + 2 whm dropping after turn 1 because their tank got the drop.. I can finally say full i90 ; ;

I have had the thornmarch quest in my log for forever. Rarely are there PFs for it and the few I've joined wiped so terribly.

Another friend also had it on his list so we decided for shits n' giggles to DF it.

Get into a group with a lot of people in low ilvl gear thinking "oh God this gonna suck!"

Nope, killed it first try smooth as butter. Bow dropped which I spent endless hours trying to get in 1.0, I was the only bard. Fuck ya.

Apparently DF people in shit gear > PF people in coil gear on my server.

Didn't they nerf the fight recently? Not that it was hard to begin with but I hear its a joke now.

possible. The fight IS a joke even before any nerf (at least, wayyyy easier than 1.0), I could never understand why my PF groups had such a hard time with it. DPS not knowing how to kite or some shit idk.

3 moogles (thief / ranger / bard) do basically nothing compared to 1.0. It's really disappointing.

Here's hoping Extreme goes for a throwback to 1.0 mechanics/difficulty.

The biggest change is that the charm is 5s (or less?) instead of 10s. Pre-nerf, that would quickly cause a wipe.

The charm was easily handled but most groups lost ther minds when it happened.

Since this is praise thread, I love what they are doing with the moogle minions. Best minions ever.

They did nerf it, it's a fun, easy and quick way to get a few tomes and occasionally a weapon you actually want.
