These translation fails are really annoying. I would say your evaluation is correct since slow is always applied instantly. The chance of sustained slow is clearly 100% unless they simply resist slow. What you said would explain how the 5% number got there in the first place. Sad that we have to re-translate things ourselves to find out what they really do.

So something vaguely interesting: seems like Eos and Selene are forced to do a "summon check" (re-snapshot master's stats for fairy stats) only after certain abilities, in addition to the usual "when zoning" or "on summon". Eos only recalcs on Fey Covenant (mdef buff), Selene for both Fey Light and Fey Glow. Unsure about Silent Dusk.

Garuda/Ifrit/Titan-Egi do not have recalcs on any of their moves (or on getting hit), so I kind of wonder if it's either a bug or only makes checks when altering certain stats.

Ultimately a pointless observation but nice to at least verify that this "problem" isn't there for Titan in weird VIT swap situations. Also left fairy out for like 4 minutes and made a decent-length walk (Wineport to Raincatcher Gully docks) to see if either would force a change but got nothing.

Welp, knew I forgot something. I checked Adlo, Succor, Eye for an Eye, Sustain, Sacred Soil, Stoneskin, and Rouse (also every regular pet command) but forgot Spur

That recheck basically makes keeping an ACC set around for summoning Garuda pointless. Here's hoping food affects pets in future patch at least.
